i come from far away china. china is an ancient and great country. for a landscape photographer, living in such an ancient and great country is a very lucky and challenging thing. fortunately, our country has countless magical mountains and rivers in the east, west, north and south. i can enjoy and experience the endless beautiful scenery all the year round. whats more challenging is that "the world is too big, and my viewfinder is too small". from the first day i picked up the camera, i was faced with the problem of "what to shoot". people often say that "there is no lack of beauty in life, but the lack of eyes to discover beauty". today, i bring a corner of the world i have seen with my "third eye" for more than 30 years to all my friends, and let these works tell them: what do i see? what did i get?

seeing these photos, i dont know what my friends feel in their hearts? due to the limited time for communication, im going to assume that the most important question you want to know is summed up in two words: one is "why" and why do you choose such a shooting object? one is how to make these images on the screen. next, i will briefly introduce my photography from these two aspects to my friends.
first, why do you want to choose such a subject? the main subjects of my works are the yellow river in china and the loess plateau in western china.
why shoot the yellow river? the birthplaces of the worlds ancient peoples are almost all close to a large river, such as ancient india and the indus river, ancient egypt and the nile river. in china, when every child is studying in primary and secondary schools, he learns from textbooks and teachers that human life activities along the yellow river have a history of more than 10000 years. the earliest and most splendid ancient civilization in china was born on both sides of the river. the yellow river nurtured generations of chinese people and witnessed the five thousand year change of dynasties of the chinese nation the yellow river is our mother river. in china and even in the world, there are many excellent photographers and works representing the yellow river. i am just one of them, but my respected colleagues in china have given me the glorious title of "yellow river photographer" alone. i think this is mainly because compared with works of similar themes, my yellow river photo has achieved the following three points that others have not.
the first is that the shooting scale is the largest, the time is the longest and the cost is the most. with a total length of 5464km, the yellow river flows through nine administrative provinces and regions in china, covering a drainage area of seventy-five point two square kilometers is the second longest river in china. i started shooting in 1999. i was the only person in china who took aerial photos of the yellow river from the source to the estuary. i was also the only one who took driving cars and walking on the ground to complete the yellow river basin from the source to the river
the photographer of tail, during which the cost of shooting work is very huge. so my wife once joked that good photos can be taken as long as the film is strafed out like a bullet and the joy is tied under the wing. "huanhuan" is the name of our dog. i think my wife is right. during aerial photographing, the assistants kept changing the film for me on the plane. the action was so fast that it was really like a soldier changing the cartridge clips on the battlefield!
second, the integrity and systematization of photo content is the inevitable result of the first point. the continuous shooting from the air to the ground in the past ten years has made my yellow river photography different from the single photo that only appeared on postcards and landscape pictorials in the past, but has formed a complete series of works. in my works, the yellow river flows from the source of trickle to the sea where thousands of miles return to the sea. the changes of the four seasons of the yellow river in spring, summer, autumn and winter, the different sceneries of rain and snow there are detailed records of various landforms, customs and customs on both sides of the yellow river. if we connect all the image viewpoints, we will see the image of a river mother with a long history and suffering.
thirdly, it shows the real and rich character characteristics of the yellow river from many aspects. the river is like a human being, but also has temperament. i have experienced the yellow river again and again. only through photography can i know how amazing and rich our mothers personality is. please look at this picture ("the river out of the stars"): a wangqingquan, a trickle, like a fairys mirror scattered on the earth, shining in the flat and soft plateau grass, flowing quietly.
this is the source of the yellow river. when he was born, our mother, like all the new born babies on the earth, was smaller and weaker with clear eyes. look at this picture ("the beginning of the dragon"), blue sky, white clouds, rolling mountains, wrapped in green carpet, white sheep freely swam on the green blanket, leaving the source of the yellow river like a beautiful hair band from a lovely girls braid, floating and winding at the foot of the green mountain.

大家，下午好！我叫张廷舵，是记者团摄影部的一名成员。非常感谢大家的信任和支持，给我这次机会参加竞选。今天，我要竞选的职务是记者团摄影部部长。时光如水，悄然流逝，转眼已在校报工作有半年了。这半年间，我和在坐的各位一起，为校报的各项工作付出了自己辛勤的汗水。到目前为止，学到了书本上没有的东西，也认识了许多朋友，让我感受到了真正的大学生活。在此，我向两位老师和部长部员们表示真诚的感谢！
从我进入记者团到开始，就和大家一起，跟着记者团一起成长。这一届记者团为校报倾注了很多心血，进行了许多尝试，目前也取得了不少成效。比如，记者团的章程不断完善，制度更加规范等等。这些成绩都是大家有目共睹的，是老师、团长和全体团员共同努力的结果。如果有机会我将努力继承这些好的做法，并不断完善，使之成为记者团的优秀传统，发扬传承下去；并且要弥补一些不足之处：
1、摄影部的知名度有待提高。许多同学不了解摄影部的性质和工作，产生不该有的神秘感以及误解，不利于采访拍摄等工作的开展。
2、摄影部未能与其他学生机构真正做到团结合作。与学生团体交流不够，相互之间比较陌生，导致在学生团体发展动向方面的消息比较闭塞。
3、大家的热情、主动性不够。既然我们加入了摄影部，就应该对摄影部负责。不要坐等别人给你任务安排，要主动去想我可以为摄影部做点什么。针对上述这些问题，着眼摄影部未来的成长之路，我这里有一些不太成熟的想法和大家分享，就是要做到“务实、高效、团结、创新”。
一、务实。
1、时刻树立求真务实的思想，是务实的源动力。思想指导行动。从思想上重视务实作风，方能真正用务实的心态服务于集体，摄影部才能走得更远，发展得更好。
2、加强校报学生摄影部内部培训，是务实的必然选择。只有每个成员都掌握好业务技能，才不会让大家觉得无所适从，无所事事。在以后的工作中，我们会尽可能抽出时间对大家进行摄影技巧、摄影方法、构图技巧、审美思维的培训，从而提高摄影部的整体素质。
二、高效。
1、要提高摄影部的整体运转效率，就必须做好各成员间的协调工作，充分调动成员的积极性。摄影部是个团队，是个集体，我们要在各项活动中协调合作，让资源优化配置，提高工作效率。
2、要做到高效更必须坚持校报编辑部老师的指导。老师是我们巨大的财富，与老师交流是我们进行工作不可缺少的一部分。不明白、不理解的问题，虚心向老师请教；“人非圣贤，孰能无过”，发生错误时，敢于面对，主动更正。在批评中成长，这样我们的效率将会提高上去。
三、团结
1、只有一个团结的集体，才会具有强大的力量。摄影部必将也一定是一个团结的集体。因此必须做好摄影部内部建设，要让每一个成员都有归属感，形成互相关心的温馨氛围。比如，会议增加互动环节，凝聚人心；团员生日时，及时送上祝福；不定期组织大家集体外拍等。
四、创新
1、活动贵在精和新，而不在多。争取每学期举办一次活动，务必办得新颖别致。同时，大胆与各组织社团进行创新性合作，参与其他社团的活动。
2、我相信摄影部的每个成员都喜爱摄影，日常生活必须要考虑到创新，各个成员需要能积极主动通过各种媒体，参加一些摄影大赛丰富自己的摄影知识，增长自己的见识。以上，是为了打造出一个“务实、高效、团结、创新”的摄影部，更好的协助老师办好报纸和服务全校师生的一些初步构想。我相信，假如能够有机会去实践它，通过我们的共同努力，摄影部一定会蒸蒸日上，焕发出新的光彩！现在站在了这里，我拿七个字来承担你们对我的信任与期望：自信、毅力、责任感！希望大家给我这个机会，带领摄影部伴随记者团一起走向更辉煌的明天。再次感谢在座的老师和同学们。
